When Healing Found Me in the Stillness
I didn’t always feel free. Life felt heavy, like moving through a quiet fog filled with memories, regrets, and fears that clung like shadows. I prayed, but the words seemed to echo back unanswered. I believed in God, but the healing I longed for felt distant.
Then, something shifted—quietly, during a family camping trip. No grand revelation, just stillness. The breeze stirred the trees above me, and in that sacred silence, I sensed God whisper, “You don’t need to carry this anymore.”
That moment cracked open something inside me. I started journaling daily—using two sets of oracle cards, each paired with a search through Scripture to understand what God might be revealing. At first, it felt disconnected. But by the third day, looking back through the messages, it became clear: the Lord was speaking. My prayers had been heard.
That experience sparked the beginning of this blog. If even one person can find healing through what I share, then I’ve fulfilled what God has placed on my heart—to be a vessel for His Word, His comfort, and His grace.
In seeking God’s truth, I discovered it wasn’t just about learning—it was about liberation. His Word didn’t confine me; it led me into wide, open spaces.
My healing continues in small, sacred steps. Every walk I take—especially those through nature—reminds me of the spiritual journey I’m on. It’s far from perfect, but it’s rooted in freedom. And for the first time in a long time, my soul feels light.
