Guest Story Submission Terms

Thank you for considering sharing your story with Healing Journey with Christ.

By submitting a story, testimony, photograph, or related material, you agree to the following terms.

Your Ownership

You retain ownership of your original story.

By submitting it for consideration, you give Healing Journey with Christ permission to review, edit, format, publish, display, promote, archive, and share the submitted material through:

  • The Healing Journey with Christ website
  • Email newsletters
  • Social-media pages
  • Promotional graphics linking to the story
  • Future collections or ministry materials, when additional permission is obtained where appropriate

This permission is non-exclusive, meaning you may continue to use and publish your story elsewhere.

Original Work

You confirm that:

  • The story is your own original work
  • You have permission to share any included photographs
  • Publication will not violate another person’s copyright or privacy
  • You have not intentionally included false or defamatory statements

Privacy of Other People

Please protect the privacy of family members, children, health-care professionals, congregations, employers, and other individuals mentioned in your story.

Use first names, changed names, or general descriptions where appropriate.

Do not submit:

  • Confidential medical records
  • Private correspondence without permission
  • Full addresses or contact details
  • Financial or identity information
  • Detailed information about children without parental or guardian permission
  • Photographs of others without permission

Editing

Healing Journey with Christ may edit submissions for:

  • Spelling and grammar
  • Clarity
  • Length
  • Formatting
  • Privacy
  • Website style
  • Removal of potentially harmful, identifying, promotional, or inappropriate material

Significant changes will not intentionally alter the central meaning of the story.

Publication Decisions

Submission does not guarantee publication.

Healing Journey with Christ may decline, postpone, remove, or unpublish a submission at its discretion, including content that is:

  • Abusive or discriminatory
  • Primarily promotional
  • Misleading
  • Unsafe
  • Legally concerning
  • Inconsistent with the purpose and values of the website

No Payment

Guest submissions are voluntary and unpaid unless a separate written agreement is made.

Withdrawal Requests

You may request removal of a published story by contacting Healing Journey with Christ.

We will make reasonable efforts to remove the story from the website, although previously delivered emails, cached copies, screenshots, printed copies, search-engine records, or social-media shares may remain outside our control.

Consent

Submitting the form confirms that you have read and agree to these terms.
