🌱 Rooted in God’s truth, not the world’s conditions

📖 SCRIPTURE
“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV)
🔥 DEVOTIONAL REFLECTION
Jeremiah 31:3 is not a gentle suggestion. It is a declaration. God speaks directly to the part of you that has questioned your worth, doubted your belonging, or tried to earn love through effort. He says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Not a temporary one. Not a conditional one. Not a love that waits for you to be more regulated, more productive, more palatable.
This is the kind of love that roots itself deep in the soil of your being. It does not flinch when you are overwhelmed. It does not withdraw when you shut down. It does not require you to mask or perform. It simply remains.
God’s unfailing kindness is not a reward. It is a rhythm. It draws you in when you feel unworthy. It wraps around you when your nervous system is frayed. It whispers truth when the world has shouted lies.
You do not need to do anything to be more worthy. You are valuable because God says so. You always have been. You always will be. It’s not up for debate.
🍂 PERSONAL REFLECTIONS
As someone who lives with neurodivergence, I’ve spent years trying to prove I was enough. I’ve masked my overwhelm, over-functioned through fatigue, and tried to earn belonging by being useful. But God never asked me to do any of that.
He simply said, “I have loved you.”
Not the masked version. Not the productive version. Not the version that gets everything right.
Just me. Just as I am.
There are days when my body needs rest more than structure. Days when my emotions speak louder than logic. Days when my mind spirals and my heart aches. And still, God draws near with unfailing kindness.
I am learning to root myself in that truth. To let it settle deeper than shame. To let it hold me when I cannot hold myself.
