🌱 You were never meant to fit in. You were meant to grow into who God designed you to be.

📖 SCRIPTURE
“Enlarge the place of your tent. Stretch your tent curtains wide. Do not hold back. Lengthen your cords. Strengthen your stakes.”
Isaiah 54:2 NIV
🔥 DEVOTIONAL REFLECTION
Isaiah 54:2 is a call to expansion, but not the kind the world demands. God is not asking you to stretch yourself thin. He is asking you to stretch yourself open.
This scripture speaks to the places inside you that have grown tight from carrying too much. The places where fear has settled. The places where you have learned to shrink so you would not be misunderstood. The places where you have held back because you were told your way was too much or not enough.
God steps into those very places and says, “Make room.”
Not for pressure.
Not for perfection.
Not for performance.
Make room for the life I am forming within you.
When God invites you to enlarge your tent, He is inviting you to widen the space where His presence can breathe. He is asking you to trust that your unique wiring, your sensitivity, your depth, your intensity, your way of processing the world are not obstacles to His work. They are the very soil where His Spirit plants new beginnings.
Stretching your tent curtains wide means allowing God to expand your capacity for peace. It means letting Him strengthen the stakes of your identity so you no longer collapse under the weight of old expectations. It means lengthening the cords of your courage so you can step into the life that fits you rather than the life that was handed to you.
This is not about fitting in.
This is about becoming.
And God is already making room for you to grow.
🍂 PERSONAL REFLECTIONS
I have spent much of my life trying to fit into spaces that were too small for the way God made me. My neurodivergence means I feel deeply, process slowly, sense everything, and move through the world in ways that do not always match the pace around me. For a long time, I thought this meant something was wrong with me.
But God keeps whispering, “Make room.”
Make room for the way your mind works.
Make room for the way your heart feels.
Make room for the way your body needs rest.
Make room for the way your spirit listens.
I am learning that making room is not about clearing my schedule. It is about clearing the pressure to be someone I am not. It is about releasing the weight of masking. It is about trusting that God meets me in the way I am wired, not the way I was taught to perform.
When I make room for who I truly am, I make room for God to move.

God, help me release the pressure to fit into spaces that were never meant for me. Stretch the places in me that have grown tight with fear.
