    Dear friends,

Today’s devotional invites you to make room for the quiet work God is doing within you. Isaiah 54:2 calls us to widen the inner spaces where hope, healing, and new beginnings can take root.

If your heart feels crowded or stretched thin, this reflection will help you breathe again and open gently to God’s presence.

🌒 Arcana: When God Is Quiet and I Still Believe

Not all silence is distance. Some of it is divine. 📖 Scripture for the Hidden Places Isaiah 45:3 “I will give you the treasures of darkness and riches hidden in secret places…” Psalm 131:2 “I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother…” Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong to…

    An Awareness of God
A gentle moment while folding towels—and a truth that set me free

    Hi friends,

Yesterday morning, I was in my bedroom, folding towels. My mind was racing. I hadn’t journaled yet. I hadn’t lit a candle. I hadn’t “prayed.” I felt behind. Disconnected. Unspiritual.

But then I paused—and I whispered, “Thank You for this moment, Lord. You’re here.”

Max Lucado reminded me that early Christians were urged to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)… “pray at all times in the Spirit” (Ephesians 6:18).

Instead of old pressure, I felt quiet freedom. I reframed prayer as awareness:
    Whispers while folding towels.
    Thank yous while washing dishes.
    Peace while standing in line.

    Scripture of Hope:
“We do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit himself speaks to God for us, even begs God for us with deep feelings that words cannot explain.”

    Gentle Invitation:
If prayer feels like pressure, could you pause for a moment?
Let the old checklist fall away, and let yourself exhale.
God is near. Always. He delights in your voice—even in little sighs.

🌿 Called Forward, Set Apart, Strengthened Within

    Hi friend,
For years, I thought I needed more confidence before I could follow where God was leading me.

I kept waiting to feel ready.
The problem was that ready never came.

In today’s devotional, I share how Mark, David, and Daniel helped me see that God doesn’t ask us to have everything figured out before we take the next step. He simply asks us to trust Him enough to move forward.

If you’ve ever felt called toward something new but struggled with fear, uncertainty, or self-doubt, this reflection is for you.
    You may not feel ready.
    You may still have questions.
But God has a way of strengthening us as we walk, not before we begin.

I pray today’s devotional encourages you to take whatever next step God is placing in front of you.

    With grace,

    Hope Arrives Quietly

    Hi friend,

Today’s devotional comes from an early morning when I woke up feeling heavy and worn down. I curled up on the living room couch with a cup of coffee I never finished, listening to the house settle around me. In that quiet, a verse surfaced — his mercies… new every morning.

I didn’t feel new, but the words stayed with me. As the sky slowly brightened, something in me softened too. Not dramatically, but enough to breathe a little easier.

If you’re in a season where hope feels slow, I hope this reflection reminds you that God’s mercies still find us, even in small ways.

    With love,
    Tracey
