When Peace Doesn’t Mean Your Pain Is Small
Christian peace doesn’t ask you to call your pain small. Philippians 4:6–7 offers a way to bring real worries to God and receive care while life is still difficult.

Loving someone through a difficult season can leave you exhausted, worried, and unsure what to do next. This devotional explores how to love faithfully without believing everything depends on you.
Have you ever felt like slowing down meant falling behind? I did too—until God began showing me that faithfulness isn’t measured by exhaustion.
Today’s devotional explores the freedom that comes from trusting His pace instead of our own.
A New Chapter for Healing Journey with Christ Scripture Focus “I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.”Philippians 1:6, NRSVUE A year ago, I went camping, carrying pain I had learned to hide. I came home knowing…
Hi friend
I thought the seating chart was finished.
The final file had already been sent to Staples, and I was ready to move on to painting the rustic window for my son and future daughter-in-law’s wedding. Then a text from her changed everything. A few guests had been missed. Others still hadn’t confirmed. Suddenly, a project I thought was complete was sitting right back on my dining room table.
This week’s devotional reflects on uncertainty, unfinished plans, and the challenge of waiting when there is nothing left to do but trust God. If you’ve ever struggled with unanswered questions, changing plans, or a season that refuses to resolve itself on your timeline, this reflection is for you.
HI friend,
For years, I believed my worth depended on how much I could carry. After becoming a young mother and navigating the heartbreak of being left during my third pregnancy,
I learned to survive by putting everyone else’s needs before my own. But Psalm 16:11 reminded me that true joy isn’t something we earn—it’s found in God’s presence.
Read today’s devotional and discover how God invites us to move beyond survival and into abundant life.
With Love and Grace

Hi friend,
I used to believe strength meant handling everything on my own.
The harder life became, the harder I pushed. I worked longer, worried more, and carried responsibilities that were never mine to carry alone.
One morning, I opened my laptop to write a devotional, but my mind was already racing through unfinished conversations, unanswered messages, and problems I kept trying to solve on my own.
Then I read Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:16 that we would be “strengthened in our inner being.”
It was the reminder I needed: true strength doesn’t come from striving harder. It comes from letting God meet us in the middle of what feels too heavy to carry.
In today’s devotional, I’m sharing what changed when I stopped trying to hold everything together and started trusting God with the burdens I was never meant to bear alone.
I pray it encourages you to take a breath, release what you cannot control, and rest in God’s presence today.
With grace,
Tracey Brown
