Proverbs 29:18 reminds us that vision is essential for spiritual vitality. The Hebrew word for “vision” (chazon) refers to divine revelation, a God-given sense of purpose and direction.
This isn’t about seeing the whole map. It’s about trusting the compass.
When we ask for vision, we’re asking for clarity, courage, and alignment with God’s heart.
🕊️ A Moment from My Journey
There was a time when I felt stuck, no clarity, no spark. I kept asking, “What’s next?” but the silence felt heavy.
One morning, I sat with my journal and wrote:
“I want to move, but I don’t know where.”
The page stayed blank for a while. Then, a quiet phrase came to mind:
“Start with what you know. I’ll meet you there.”
That was the beginning of movement. I didn’t get a map, I got a step. And that was enough.

I began asking God for “next-step vision.”
Not the whole plan, just the next stone in the path.
I wrote down nudges, dreams, and verses that stirred my heart.
They became my compass.
And with each step, clarity grew.

When I feel lost, remind me that You are not.
