🌟👁️ Eyes to See: Seeing Through Faith👁️🌟
When the path is foggy, faith becomes your compass.
Dear friend,
Today’s devotional reminds us that faith is a kind of sight—one that sees beyond fear and uncertainty.
In Day 2, “Seeing Through Faith,” we reflect on 2 Corinthians 5:7 and the courage to walk forward even when the way isn’t clear.
I share a personal story from a foggy season and offer a calming Sacred Sip with lavender and lemon balm to anchor your trust.
Let this be your breath prayer: “I trust You here.”
Day 2 –Trusting What Can’t Be Traced
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7
Let this verse be your anchor today. Faith isn’t blindness—it’s deeper vision. It sees what fear cannot.
🌸 Gentle Questions to Begin
- What feels uncertain or invisible in my life right now?
- Where am I being invited to trust without proof?
- What promise has God whispered that I’m afraid to believe?
🔍 A Deeper Look at the Word
Paul’s words remind us that spiritual living isn’t tethered to what we can see or measure. Faith is a kind of sight—it perceives what’s real even when it’s hidden.
To “walk by faith” means to move forward not because we see the path, but because we trust the One who laid it.
Sight says, “Show me.”
Faith says, “I believe You’re already here.”
🕊️ A Moment from My Journey
There was a time when everything felt foggy. I had prayed, journaled, waited, but no answers came. I wanted clarity, a sign, a map. Instead, I felt silence.
One morning, I sat with my tea and whispered, “I don’t see the way.”
And in that quiet, I sensed a gentle reply: “You don’t have to. Just walk with Me.”
So I did. I made one small decision. Then another. I didn’t feel brave, but I felt held.
Looking back, I see how each step was guided, not by sight, but by trust.
Faith didn’t erase the fog; it gave me the courage to walk through it.
💡 What Helped Me Heal
I started writing down promises, scriptures, whispers, and affirmations, and taping them inside my planner and on my mirror. They became my trail markers. When fear said, “You’re lost,” faith said, “You’re led.”
I didn’t need to see the whole path. I just needed to trust the next step.
🙏 A Prayer for Today
Father, help me walk by faith today.
Let Your promises guide my steps.
Even when I can’t see the way, remind me that You are near.
Give me the courage to trust what You’ve spoken.
Amen.
📎 Your Gentle Invitation
