  • 🌒 Turn to the Father

    🌒Turn to the Father

A devotional for the anxious and afraid

    Dear friend,

Last night, I couldn’t sleep. My thoughts spiraled, my chest tightened, and all I wanted was relief. I almost reached for distraction.

But then I remembered Jesus in the garden. He didn’t hide His fear. He turned to the Father.

In today’s reflection, I share how that moment changed me—and how you can do the same. When anxiety rises and fear grips, you don’t have to be fearless.

You just have to be honest. And turn to the One who listens.

Let this devotional be your breath, your pause, your beginning.

    With tenderness,

  • The Lord Is with Me

    Hi dear ones,

Today’s reflection is for anyone who’s felt stretched thin, emotionally tired, or quietly overwhelmed. If your thoughts have felt heavy, I hope this brings comfort.

I’ve been walking through Calm Moments for Anxious Days by Max Lucado—paired with his book Tame Your Thoughts. Together, they’ve become part of my healing rhythm: quiet mornings, tea rituals, and journal pages filled with grace.

In Day 2, Max reminds us that God is near, even when anxiety says otherwise. Chapter 9 of Tame Your Thoughts—“When You Feel Overwhelmed”—echoes this truth:

“God doesn’t wait for us to be calm before He comes close. He draws near in the middle of the mess.”

That reminder softened something in me. I don’t have to hold it all together. I don’t have to be strong. I just have to call out—and God answers with presence, not pressure.

Here’s a peek into my journal:
    – 🛡️ “You’re on your own.” → I paused.
    Is this true? No.
I replaced it with: “I’m supported. I’m not alone. Help is near.”
    – 👽 UFO: “I have to carry everything myself.” → I named it and released it.
I reminded myself: “God is near. I can ask for help.”
    – 🌱 Old belief: “I’m too much to support.” → I uprooted it.
I replanted: “I am worthy of care. God draws near to me.”
Each shift felt like a breath of grace.

  • Week 4 Day 2: The Permission

Have you ever felt like your voice was too much—or not enough?
Today’s devotional, The Permission, dives into Luke 1:64 and Zechariah’s moment of restoration. After months of silence, his first words weren’t complaints—they were praise.

That’s the kind of freedom God offers us: not just to speak, but to speak with power, truth, and healing.

If you’ve been waiting for permission to speak up, this is your reminder—God already gave it.
