🌿 Reflection: Carriers of Flame
There is a flame within you—not of ambition, ego, or performance, but of presence. A holy spark planted by God at your beginning. It’s what wakes you when dreams stir. It’s what aches when injustice rises. It’s what whispers when love calls you deeper.
The spark of life is divine fire—meant to illuminate, not destroy… To purify, not punish… To activate, not exhaust.
God’s fire is not chaos. It’s clarity. It burns away what no longer serves, and reveals what was hidden in ash.
You were never meant to live dimmed. The Spirit within you burns with holy purpose. Let Him ignite what’s been smothered by fear or silence.
📓 Journaling Prompts: Rekindling the Flame
- 🔥 What part of you feels dimmed or cold—creativity, prayer, passion?
- 💬 When was the last time your spirit “burned within you” while listening to God?
- 🧎 What has God asked you to fan into flame?
- ✍️ Write a prayer asking God to rekindle the spark of life inside you.
- 🪶 Describe a moment you felt deeply alive and full of holy fire. What fueled it?
Creative Prompt: Draw or imagine a matchstick striking flame. Around the flame, write what God is lighting in your life right now: “truth,” “courage,” “healing,” “witness.”
🙏 Closing Prayer: Rekindle Me
Holy Fire, Ignite what has grown cold. Fan the embers of my calling, The whispers of my purpose, The dreams I buried for being too bold.
Let me burn without burning out. Let me glow with grace, not grind.
Consume my fear, But leave my joy untouched.
May I live like the bush—burning, Alive, Unconsumed. Amen.
