Day 4 –Seeing Life Where Others See Loss
“He asked me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?” – Ezekiel 37:3
🌸 Gentle Questions to Begin
- What feels lifeless or barren in my life right now?
- Where am I afraid to hope again?
- What might God be whispering over my dry bones?
🔍 A Deeper Look at the Word
Ezekiel stood in a valley of bones—symbols of death and despair. But God asked a question to invite vision. Faith doesn’t ignore the valley—it sees possibility within it.
🕊️ A Moment from My Journey
There was a time when my creativity felt dried up. I couldn’t write. I couldn’t dream. I felt like a valley of bones.
But one day, I sat with my journal and wrote one word: breathe. It wasn’t profound, but it was a beginning.
That word became a prayer. That prayer became a poem. That poem became healing.
God didn’t rush me; He revived me.
💡 What Helped Me Heal
I stopped trying to fix the valley. Instead, I asked God to show me what could live again.
I planted small seeds; gentle rituals, quiet prayers, tiny acts of hope, and slowly, life returned.
🙏 A Prayer for Today
God, give me vision for restoration.
Help me see hope where others see ruin.
Speak life over my dry places.
Amen.
📎 Your Gentle Invitation
Write down one area of your life that feels barren.
Then ask: What small step could I take toward life?
