Because even sacred socks need time to be stitched
Dear friends,
I’m pressing pause. Not because I’m vanishing—but because I’m deepening.
Right now, I’m immersed in writing my children’s book series inspired by Raven the kitten—our moon-eyed mischief maker who taught us how sacred socks can be, how loud leaves feel, and how every blanket fort is a sanctuary. These stories are full of big feelings, sensory quirks, and spiritual giggles. And they need my full heart.
So while I’m crafting character sheets, affirmation cues, and illustrated spreads that honor neurodivergent children and tender-hearted families, I’ll be stepping back from regular blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates.
This pause isn’t a retreat. It’s a cocoon.
It’s where the moth unfolds.
It’s where the Spirit whispers:
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Stillness isn’t stagnation. It’s sacred.
It’s where clarity comes like a hush.
It’s where healing doesn’t need to be chased—it can be inhaled.
And as I write, I’m reminded:
“Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.” — Habakkuk 2:2
These stories are revelations. Tiny ones. Tender ones.
They’re meant to run—not just through pages, but through hearts.
Thank you for holding space for my becoming.
Thank you for trusting the pause.
Thank you for believing in the sacred silliness of socks and kittens and spiritual sanctuary.
I’ll be back soon—with stories that sparkle, soothe, and maybe meow a little.
With love and laughter,
