🌿 Reflection: An Invitation to Overflow
We were not created for scarcity.
In God’s economy, abundance isn’t about luxury—it’s about being filled where we once felt empty. It’s healing where we were once fractured. It’s joy that survives sorrow. It’s provision that surprises us in the drought.
Abundance means more than finances or possessions. It’s peace in the waiting. It’s love that stays. It’s purpose that expands.
The heart of abundance is receiving.
Not performing for it. Not earning it. Not fearing it’s “too much.”
Just receiving what has already been promised.
📓 Journaling Prompts: Welcoming the More
- 🧡 What does abundance mean to you beyond material things?
- 🌸 What area of your life feels like it’s waiting to overflow?
- 🙌 What blocks you from fully receiving—fear, shame, pride?
- 📝 Write a prayer that opens your heart to receive every good thing God has for you.
- 🪷 Create a gratitude list titled: Already Full. Note 10 ways you’ve experienced divine provision.
Creative Prompt: Draw or describe a bowl being filled with water until it spills gently over the edge. Label the water “peace,” “love,” “healing,” “joy.” What does the overflow mean to you?
🙏 Closing Prayer
Generous God, I open my hands. I open my heart. I let go of fear and scarcity. I welcome the full measure of Your grace—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Let me live as if You are truly enough. Let me receive what You’ve already prepared. Amen.
