When the Ordinary Days Are Part of the Blessing
Sometimes we become so focused on the special day ahead that we overlook the days surrounding it. Psalm 90:12 reminds us to notice today’s ordinary blessings before they become memories.

Hi friend,
Today’s devotional comes from a stormy evening at home.
Thunder rolled across the sky, rain covered the back deck, and I stood near the door with a warm mug of tea in my hands.
I was not looking for a holy moment. I just needed to breathe.
Then Psalm 103:2 came back to me: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits.
It did not feel like pressure to be thankful. It felt like a reminder to notice what was already there: shelter, breath, warmth, and the God who was still near.
If life has felt unsettled lately, I hope this helps you notice one small mercy today.
With love,
Tracey
