What September Taught Me About Taking the Next Step
Looking back over September, I’m learning to trust Christ through change, grief, waiting, unanswered questions, receiving help, and healing.

September 11 remains a day of remembrance and sorrow for many. This Christian reflection considers grief, compassion, prayer, and the promise that God is near to the brokenhearted.
Hi friend,
Today’s devotional comes from an early morning when I woke up feeling heavy and worn down. I curled up on the living room couch with a cup of coffee I never finished, listening to the house settle around me. In that quiet, a verse surfaced — his mercies… new every morning.
I didn’t feel new, but the words stayed with me. As the sky slowly brightened, something in me softened too. Not dramatically, but enough to breathe a little easier.
If you’re in a season where hope feels slow, I hope this reflection reminds you that God’s mercies still find us, even in small ways.
With love,
Tracey
Dear friend
Today’s devotional invites you to rest in the truth that Christ has already made you whole.
You are not a project. You are not behind. You are not missing pieces. In Him, you have been brought to fullness.
May these words meet you with gentleness and remind you that you are deeply held.
In Love and Grace
Tracey
Hi friend,
If you’ve ever wondered where the “abundant life” Jesus promised fits into your tired days, tender nervous system, or healing journey… this week’s devotional is for you.
I just released a new reflection called “Living Abundantly With Jesus: A Gentle Guide for the Healing Journey.”
It explores how Jesus restores our souls, calls us by name, and leads us into a spacious, peaceful life — not through pressure, but through presence.
You’ll find:
A gentle devotional rooted in John 10
Personal reflections from my own healing journey
Journaling prompts
Daily living keynotes
A closing prayer to settle your spirit
If your heart has been craving rest, reassurance, or a reminder that you are deeply known by the Shepherd, I hope this meets you right where you are.

This past week has felt like walking barefoot through sacred ground—each step softening my soul, each breath drawing me closer to God’s heartbeat. Through every blog entry, I peeled back layers of pain, wrestled with old cycles, and leaned into a love that never lets go. It started with Healing from Toxicity. I felt the…
As August begins, I find myself stepping into a new rhythm—one marked not by urgency, but by grace. This first week has been a gentle unfolding, like the petals of a flower slowly opening to the sun. And at the center of it all is Christ, patiently guiding me through the layers of healing I…
Embracing Faith, Clarity, and Connection in Every Step 📖 Scripture Focus 🌅 Devotional Reflection Today, God invites us to move past surface living into something deeper—where presence outweighs distraction, and grace flows freely. Maybe the hurry you feel isn’t holy. Maybe it’s okay to walk—not run. 📖 Scriptures to Slow Down With Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NRSV)“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Isaiah 40:31 (NRSV)“…those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength…” Psalm 27:14 (NRSV)“Wait for the Lord; be strong,…
🍂 Seasons of the Soul Life unfolds in seasons—some teeming with hard-earned sweat and persistence, others blossoming quietly with renewed intention. Just as the land rests after the harvest, so too do our hearts long for stillness after prolonged toil. Whether you’re standing in the midst of effort or gently stepping into something new, there’s…
